Saturday, November 7th, Jackie & I attended a local concert. The Plano Civic Chorus performed with the Dallas Chamber Orchestra at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Plano. The concert piece was "The Agony and the Ecstasy" by Ludwig van Beethoven.
The Plano Civic Chorus is a diverse group of more than 100 local auditioned singers.
The Dallas Chamber Orchestra includes members are internationally recognized musicians, including professors and artists in residence at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and University of North Texas (UNT).
It was a great concert!! Jackie will get concert credit as she needs to attend a total of 12 for the semester. Most, I believe are student recitals, but I think at least 3 are required to be works of classical composers.
