The RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa)started this past week sponsored by the Des Moines Register newspaper.
On Monday, over 10,000 bicycles were within a few miles of Pomeroy.
We did see "quite a few" visit the town's restaurant, museums and bar.
Below is a photo of the hoard of bicycles leaving Storm Lake early on Monday morning,
on their way to spend the night camping in Algona.
