This weekend was a hectic one. Doug and I traveled down I-45 to visit each of the kids.
Friday evening, we stayed with Jill at her apartment in Conroe, TX. We took Jill, Josh and Jackie our for dinner @ Applebees.
Saturday morning, we went to The Vineyards of Waverly Manor. Doug and I finally got a tour of the place, then we spent the next two hours planning the wedding reception. We finished by paying a whopping $5,000. The next payment is due 30 days before the wedding. Then another payment may be due at the night of the wedding if more people come, than RSVP.
Remember to get your RSVPs in early!!! Jill took us out for lunch @ McKenzies. Good Barbecue!
Saturday afternoon, we drove to Karl's new apartment in The Woodlands, TX. He prepared dinner (yummy fajitas) for the whole crew. Well done Karl! We would stay there over night.
Sunday morning, we drove back up Hwy45 to Huntsville, TX. We would attend First Presbyterian Church in Huntsville. Jackie sang "On Eagles Wings" during the service. It is always wonderful to get to hear her sing.
