Walmart & Cube Steak

Well today, I had a hankering for some round steak, rice & gravy.

So at 4:30pm I went and got a few groceries at Walmart.

I came home, talked to Jenny & Makayla on the phone for a while
and then I was going to make my supper....when it happened! I could not find my cube steak.

I checked the receipt and I had indeed paid for it, but it was no where in sight.
I checked my grocery carrier in my truck~ Nada!
I checked the refrigerator ~ Nope!
I checked the pantry (hey some times thing end up in there that shouldn't) ~ just not this time!
I checked the trash can, where I had placed the empty walmart bags. NOTHING!!

So back to Walmart again!
I was bound and determined to have my round steak tonight.
Doug doesn't like it...so I only get to enjoy it when he's gone or my mom & dad are visiting.

This wouldn't be so much of a saga, but man "It's hot outside".
Heat index was 110 today.

Customer service at Walmart was very nice.
I explained I had been in the store a little while ago and that I didn't receive one item.
The customer service rep said, "Cube steak?"

Yep, turns out my cube steak was turned in to the customer service desk and was sitting there waiting for my return. I passed on that one and went back to the meat counter and picked up another package.

Dinner was definately worth all the trouble!!!
