...these were just some of the words being thrown around this past week at school

Here are some pictures taken this morning of my car a, who has been a trooper this week through all the cold weather, and of the house. As you can see, there is minimal snow but lots of ice on the road. I was slipping around on the driveway just taking these pictures.

I got a call at 5:30 AM to tell me that SHSU had cancelled classes until noon. When I woke up this morning I started to worry because I didn't want to drive in this weather just to go up for one of my classes at 1 PM. About 10 AM this morning I got another call that said classes were cancelled all day. I was quite pleased!!

I have been watching the news this morning and have been showing pictures of all the ice in Houston. Hopefully Jill and Karl didn't try to venture out to work today. I talked to Josh last night and TCC was closed all day today as well. The weather man said that it is suppose to stay in the 30's today and then tomorrow a high of 52....one day ice, the next spring! I don't get it!!

Well instead of going to school today, I plan to clean, get lots of homework done, do some baking, watch a couple movies, and STAY WARM!! My heater has been working overtime, but it's keeping my room a nice summer temperature of 76 degrees!!
