A burst of heavy snow came through North Texas this Friday morning. Up to 5" in Dallas. A winter storm warning is in effect until noon today. The snow should taper throughout the morning, however, more burst of heavy snow may come back into the area. Total accumulations could be anywhere from 5"-8"
The weather has been a factor in some of the Super Bowl activities all week. Temps are expecting to be in the upper 40s on Saturday/Sunday so hopefully some of this will melt and the media and fans will have a couple of good days while they are in town.
