This blog has hit the maximum capacity for photos. I deleted two years worth of posts (300 posts) and it still would not let me create a blog entry....so I've created a new blog. http://www.the-kuklenz-familyv2.blogspot.com/

Friday - Lunch & Movie
Friday, I took my mom, dad and nephew Bradley to lunch at Red, Hot and Blue in Plano.
Bradley couldn't get over how large the drinks were.
He didn't finish his, I was on my second.

The lunch ended with a free dessert for everyone, because I found a dead cricket underneath my plate when I lifted it up to help clear the table.
The manager did not seem surprised when I brought it to his attention, he just stated
"Haven't you seen the news, crickets have been very bad this year"
YIKES!!!!
Later that afternoon, I took my nephew Bradley to see
The Amazing Spiderman at the AMC Stonebriar.

It was a great movie with lots of action and the audience clapped at the end of the movie.
It's been a while since I've been to a movie that got spontaneous applause!

Margaritas & Frappacinos
The nigh before everyone arrived we made several batches of margarita mixes.
Here we are in process.
These are some of the completed mixes, sealed in food saver bags.
Each pint bag makes about 2 margaritas.

Jenny had a special blend :-)
At the end of the week, we went on a Xanthan Gum run...a neccessary ingredient to make creamy frappacinos. Below are the photos of version 1 & 2.
Doug is still perfecting the recipe so the next time everyone visits,
we will have a new treat to try.
Royal Brush - Pottery Painting
Tuesday morning, I took Jill and Makayla to Royal Brush.
The Royal Brush is a charming paint your own pottery studio filled with pieces awaiting your artistic touch.
They have many unique options from which to choose including wine glasses, serving dishes,
ice cream and soup bowls, coffee mugs, candle holders, toys and trinkets

My nephew, Nathan on the Cowboys 50 yard line.
I wonder what his favorite Chicago Bears player would say about that?

Nathan doing his best touchdown dance in the Dallas Cowboys end zone.
I think that might be called "Excessive Celebration" by the NFL
Blow the whistle - Throw the flag - that's a 15 yard penalty!

Selling Cookies
We had about 47 ladybug cookies left over from the wedding.
Karen suggested that Makayla and Nathan sell them on the street corner.
So we got out some cardboard and markers and they proceeded on making a sign.
