Honeymooners

Sunday morning, Jackie and Jonathan came over so that we could take them to the airport for their trip to Miami. They will be on a 5 day NCL cruise to the Bahamas for their honeymoon.

On the way over to our house from the hotel, Jackie stopped by Great Clips to get her hair cut.
She had been growing out her hair for the wedding and she wanted to have short hair for the cruise.

Posing out front by the pear tree.

More photos!

Opening gifts from those here at the house.

This photo was taken Saturday, July 7th.
Jonathan's parents had picked them up from the airport and they are unpacking the truck.
They will open all their wedding gifts while they do laundry from vacation.

The honeymooners have returned and now it is gift opening time.

Wedding Cake

The wedding cake and groom's cake was made by Delicious Cakes.
Jackie designed her own cake top which they made out of fondant.
The base is surrounded by a few ladybuy spotted cupcakes.

A close-up of the cake top.

The groom's cake was designed by Jonathan.
Delicious Cakes took the digital copy of the creation and screenprinted the cake top.
Jackie and Jonathan met over Facebook when she was at SHSU and he was at A&M.
The Facebook screen shows several photos of them along with an
updated relationship status of Married.

Wedding Decorations

Below are a few of the personal touches we added to the wedding venue.
The antique window used as a seating chart for the recpetion.

Some personalization of the seating chart, using their wedding logo.

A watering can personalized by Aunt Jenny.
An ivy was inserted by the florist and put in front of the seating chart window.

A bronze bird cage, spray painted white, decorated with a bow.
Now it is a collection spot for those wedding cards on the gift table.

The altar flowers with all white flowers.

A ladybug handkerchief purchased and personalized by me.
Something Old - a pooh pendant from a necklace Jackie had as a child.
Something New - a shiny 2012 penny for Something New
Something Borrowed - a rhinestone to represent the diamond bracelet Jackie borrowed from me Something Blue - blue bow attached with a blue button

Each chair at the end of the row, had a hand tied red gerbera daisy with a white bow.

Then the wedding programs (printed ...and reprinted by me) was placed on each chair.

Table decorations consisted of red gerbera daisies in ladybug vases, with a cylindar vase with a floating candle and a small square vase with a floating white gerbera daisy.

A decorated table  complete with wedding favors.
Ladybug cookies made by Celebrity Bakery and Post-It notes made by Jackie.
Ladybug frames were purchased at Micheals and I used by Cricut to make the table number inserts.

The rooms has been converted from the ceremony to the reception.
