The day started off with sandwiches on arrival. Everyone got "checked in" to their rooms followed by an afternoon of activities.
The evening meal was "Italian Night" (Caesar Salad, Assorted Meats/Cheese tray, Minestrone soup, Lasagna, Garlic bread)
The evening entertainment was The Kuklenz Play from 1995 and the Revisited version in 2010. Followed by St. Nicole giving out stockings with the theme tshirt for this year as well as copies of the play.
Each team had to dress up in the costumes (Santa, Reindeer & Elf) and pose for a photo.
Joel is shown here sporting the REINDEER costime.
There would be a quick announcement that the first seven people to the table would be eligible to play. The game is a prize is hidden with a several layers of boxes and wrapped with many layers of tapes (medical, duct, packaging, etc..)
Roll a dice - Get doubles - Get a chance to unwrap the container until someone else gets doubles.
Very fast paced and fun game.
They were also a hit on Saturday morning as well.
Saturday after brunch. Tom McMillan from Texas Onsite CPR came to teach the entire family how to do CPR. This was my gift for the Family Giving Tree.
Below are all the practice dummies he brought for our group.
Below, everyone is following along with the video and learning the steps
before practicing.
Instead of exchanging gifts this year.
We decided to host a Family Giving Tree.
Everyone was to create an ornament, that represented what they would do this year.
There were many great ideas!!
Below is the giving tree following everyone presented their ornament.
Everyone was given a souvenir t-shirt for this year's event.
Below is the entire group (22 people)
There were three people unable to make the trip...
We missed you - Evan, Wade & John!!

Friday evening, we enjoyed many rousing games of our version of Minute 2 Win It.
Diane is here celebrating her victory in the "Do You Hear What I Hear" challenge.
Saturday, after lunch...everyone was given a blank gingerbread cookie and asked to decorate it.

Her "Fancy Nancy" was very intricate!
The rest of the evening was spent playing "Family Feud"
All in all, it was a GREAT fun-filled memory-making few days.
