Monday, February 14th is the annual commemoration, celebrating love & affection between intimate companions. I received these white roses and a card from Doug. He received a card, a "large" Little Debbie heart cake and some Brach conversation sweet-hearts.This year Valentine's Day was very low key. We were just coming off a weekend away and with only a few weeks until vacation, we couldn't justify an expensive night out. We instead had hamburgers on the grill with the folks. A nice quiet evening.
You know you are in love, when even the simple gesstures can make you happy. Doug shared his valentine heart cake with me later in the evening.
