My niece, Makayla went to see an ENT specialist regarding her left ear on Monday, Feb 2nd. as her pediatrician had noted an abnormality in her ear at her 4 yr check-up.The ENT doctor couldn't see her eardrum because of some membrane that was blocking it. They think that her eardrum might have burst some time ago and when it was healing it caused this membrane to form.
Makayla was very brave and sat very still and the doctor was able to remove most of the membrane. She was given ear drops to dissolve the remainder. She will go back to the doctor in 4-6 weeks for a check-up.
We are praying for a quick healing!
