I went for my doctor's appt yesterday. My gallbladder is just fine!
The CT scan showed "mild stranding of the mesenteric fat with a few small subcentimeter lymph nodes. The apperance is most suggestive of mesenteric adenitis"
My doctor wants me to see a gastroenterologist to rule out the cause of the inflammed lymph glades near my stomach.
4 possible causes:
1) infection - unlikely, because my white blood cell count is normal.
2) leukemia - unlikely, because I don't have any abnormal white blood cell counts. 3) pin hole leak in an ulcer - very likely.
4) carcinomas - hopefully...very unlikely.
I'm due to have my colonoscopy in September and my doctor suggested calling the GI md and seeing if I could have it early and combined with a scope to check out my stomach.
So the saga continues ~
