Healing Prayers

Doug's dad, Melvin, was admitted to Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge on Sunday.

Currently we don't know too much, except that tests are being performed. Tests are continuing again today and we request prayers of healing.

In addition: Our church friend, Al Gober is also in the hospital at Medical Center of Lewisville. Al was diagnosed with Merkel Cell carcinoma in January 2010. Al has had 9 month of chemo & radiation and was recently starting a clinical trial. But Al's kidneys are failing and he is in a great deal of pain. The family has made arrangements to move him home with hospice care.

Our heart breaks for this sweet family. Please pray for peace & comfort for this family.

O God, you are the strength of the weak and the comfort of sufferers: Mercifully accept our prayers, and grant to your servants, the help of your power, that their sickness may be turned into health, and our sorrow into joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
