Today we would hit 2 of the 4 Pearl Harbor memorials.
We arrived at the Pearl Harbor exhibits about 10:30am. Tickets for the USS Arizona are free and are given out on a first come, first served basis. Our tour time would be 12:20pm. While waiting we walked through 2 free exhibits (Road to War) (The Attack).
The USS Arizona tour is a 75 minute tour, which includes a documentary type film and a boat trip to the memorial.
We took many photos and even a short video of the oil that rises to the surface of the water periodically which will be shared once we return home.

USS Arizona Memorial
After the USS Arizona, we took the audio guided tour of the USS Bowfin. "WWII Avenger". We were able to see how small the submarine was inside and see how the sailors lived and worked.
Afterwords, we enjoyed seeing the museum artifacts. The cost of $10 each included the tour and the museum experience.
USS Bowfin SubmarineWe drove back to the hotel, just in time for hot appetizers in the Executive Lounge. We then rested our tired feet, before heading out in search of somewhere to eat dinner. Our selection: Seaside Bar & Grill. We had shared an appetizer of spring rolls and then shared a fish & chips dinner.
Walking back to the hotel, we stopped at the one of many ABC Stores for a 6 pack of beer and a nice quiet evening.
The evening finished, with me doing some office work with required deadlines for Monday.
A much better day today!!!
